What better way to welcome the season than a scrumptious lunch, entertainment, art and shopping with friends. On the top of the list will be the Silent Auction. Many have donated a beautifully painted item. There is still time to paint something special for the auction. Be sure to bring it to the meeting so it can be photographed and catalogued.
Then start creating a Theme Basket. This raffle is always so popular and a great fund raiser for the chapter.
This year the Gifts and Treasures table will hold many items all priced $10.00 and under. What better gift or stocking stuffer than something hand painted. Isnt there something you could also donate?
Be sure to bring a new teddy bear to put under the tree for cancer patients. And a wrapped ornament hand-painted by you will be put into the Ornament Exchange. You will trade yours for a beautifully decorated one by a fellow painter.
Now is the time to get into the momentum of the finale of 2007. Be sure to set the date aside and attend. See you there.
